Cambodian Genocide - Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge
The photographs of the victims from the Cambodian genocide are what really haunt you. There's a huge discussion on this topic at the bottom of this entry.

Mike,
You hit the nail on the head with this segment. I had the chills for days after I saw it. The most ironic part is the local shooting range - most people visit the skulls and shoot off AK-47s on the same day.
Take care,
David
What I want to know is, why aren't there any real sites on the Cambodian genocide that just tell the story from the prospective of the rest of the world looking back in history. Why does ever web site feel the need to tell the story from a victims point of veiw. It's good that some web sites have the point of view from the people who experienced it, but can't one fricken' site have a history story of the ordeal. Whatever. I guess I'll just have to create my own fricken' web site. Thanks alot. :(
I agree with mr. Jerry Bins, I'm trying to do a project on the Cambodian Genocide, and I can't find one site that's purely info...all i can find is dates!!!! it's mondo-aggrevating
Complaining that this video doesn't offer a different perspective on this atrocity is like complaining that McDonald's doesn't sell accordions.
In my travelogue piece on this subject I link to the Yale Cambodian Genocide Project, a definitive resource. Go there.
honstly i'm probably one of the most cynical 15 year olds ones ever met but even this touched me. pol pot was a chubby, domineering fool who should have truly been shot from birth just for the unnaturally evil gleam in his eye.
Just watched your Cambodian Genocide
video. Think you did a great job on the video.
Watching it gave me the chills
